About Tyrone
My name is Tyrone Senior, and I’m originally from Jamaica.
I came to the U.S. at 18 years old—full of ambition and completely debt-free. My parents believed education was the key to a better life, so I earned an Associate’s Degree in Health Information Management from Berkeley College and a Bachelor’s in Health Care Administration from Iona College.
But along with my degrees came $89,000 in student debt—and no work experience. The job search was tough, and interest on my loans kept pushing me deeper into the hole.
Eventually, I found a job in my field, but the income barely covered my bills. To stay afloat, I worked two extra jobs—one as a mailroom clerk and another installing medical alert equipment. Still, my debt hardly moved. Rent, utilities, and daily expenses kept me trapped in a cycle that felt endless.
Everything changed in August 2006, when my mother passed away after a five-month battle with cancer. She worked hard all her life, yet without help from family, her savings, and my own, we wouldn’t have been able to make her final days comfortable. If she had lived just a few months longer, I would have had to take out loans to continue her care.
That moment shattered my old beliefs about money. I once thought money wasn’t important—that it was “the root of all evil”—and that I only needed enough to be comfortable. But I saw firsthand the good money can do. My mindset shifted forever.
I began studying the history of money and the financial systems we live under. What I discovered shocked me: 95% of the wealth is controlled by just 5% of the population, while the other 95% struggles. This isn’t just a statistic—it’s a global problem.
The good news? I’ve found solutions—practical, life-changing solutions—that can help anyone break free from financial struggle. I reveal them all in my upcoming documentary:
